there's something oddly appealing about it.

| John Rogers carved detailed scenes. Unlike many Europeans, he carved
"Genre" scenes, not neoclassical ones. Also, he worked in terracotta
and plaster, not marble. But his carvings are no less exacting than
those by his European counterparts.

I saw a neat sign pointing out how a frame's design can complement a
painting.
