Dinner at Les Philosophes
We returned to Les Philosophes for dinner. Fish (probably pollock) with coconut milk, curry-ish rice. Good.
Boeuf (beef) bourguignon. It was definitely cooked with wine. I also liked the biscuit and the butter-cooked mushrooms. The dish inspired Di Yin to make her own beef bourguignon once back in the bay area.

I also had a glass of white wine from Sancerre, part of the Loire valley. It was good, crisp, simple, and dry, exactly as I expected and desired.
