My requisite self-portrait: yours truly in front of the Confucius statue
at the corner of E. Nandan Road and N. Caoxi Road. I wish I could've
easily gotten a picture of myself posing like Confucius in front of him,
but, because I'm wearing pants, it doesn't look right.
Incidentally, this photo is high-resolution.

| Free appetizers: pickled stuff (too spicy for me) and peanuts (salty).
| "Hot pot chicken with bamboo shoots." Good. I appreciated the whole
cloves.
| The menu description for the chicken with bamboo shoots.
| "Top 1 Xiangjiang-taste fish head." Topped with preserved, sweetened
chili noodles (whose purpose is to soak up juices). Good.

| To drink, Di yin had chrysanthemum tea (good), and I had an asahi beer.
