  • Banquet Dinner on Sentosa
A 360-degree panoramic movie of this part of Sentosa's palm-laden beach,
the ocean, the banquet tent, and the conference crowd.
    Although Singapore's
government says the water quality on Sentosa's beaches is "very
good", the sight of the port in the distance made me skeptical (not
that I was in the mood to swim anyway). By the way, I like the
giraffe-like silhouette of the cranes.
A panoramic movie of the many shipping vessels in the water off Sentosa.
The resort, banquet tent, palm trees, beach, and water at night. Pretty.

    Clockwise from upper-left:

 salad with "Oriental dressing"

 hearts of palm salad

 various grilled fishes and meats.  The lamb cutlet was decent;
everything else was okay. The tiger prawns (not pictured) were
remarkably bad.
Veal loin steak (notably good), corn on the cob, and grilled calamari.
My plate of dessert, clockwise from upper-left:

 baked apple tart: good.

orange mandarin cake: didn't taste like anything of the sort.
Basically, it was a typical unhealthy cake. Okay.

 chocolate brownie.

baked papaya with cinnamon sugar: eh.
