| Breakfast from Beach Pea
We had a tasty, carb-heavy breakfast of pastries from Beach Pea, a bakery/cafe in
Kittery, ME.
Clockwise from top, we had
- honey walnut scone - delicately flavored. has tiny walnut pieces.
texture like a corn muffin.
- pumpkin chocolate chip muffin - pumpkin flavor comes through like
gangbusters. appropriately gritty texture: feels right for pumpkin.
- raspberry croissant - nice crunch to it. can taste the butter in the
dough. good filling.
- pan au chocolat - very chocolaty in patches. when balanced,
goooood. (Yes, I intentionally elongated the sound.)
- blueberry scone - lots of blueberries. almost like a muffin;
moist inside.

| Lunch
| Leftovers of "winter vegetable hash," a dish I made half a week ago.
| Leftovers of a kale-and-broccoli sauteed-and-steamed side dish I made two
nights before.
Lunch was those two leftover dishes, plus scrambled eggs.
| Dinner
We had dinner at Dudley House: good buttery fish, okay bbq ribs (with a
piquant sauce), okay purple cabbage, and a salad.
