September 23rd 2007: Newburyport and Portsmouth

Both movies are from Newburyport. One movie is of the pristine park by the waterfront. The other is of all the yachts moored in the river, with a bridge in the distance. It reminded me of Vancouver, though Vancouver had more boats.

There are movies associated with this collection.

Clear Flour Bakery and its line. This photo was taken after we ate; the
line was shorter when we arrived.

Newburyport (Massachusetts)
A green scene from one of the pedestrian malls in Newburyport.
Some shops in this mall.
We grabbed slices of pizza from the Pizza Factory for a mid-afternoon
snack. One normally thinks of buying pizza by the slice as being a fast
transaction, yet this was pretty slow.

Christ.

A variety of pepper plants, aptly nicknamed Medusa.
A massive whale mural that reminded me of this
one in Atlanta.

Portsmouth Brewery
Funky three-dimensional art hang on the brewery's stone wall. I like
them, and love the atmosphere it gives the place.

The bar.
My chicken pesto sandwich.

Christina's (Cambridge, Massachusetts)
Assorted ice creams and sorbets from Christina's. My pumpkin one was
notably good. Whatever else I had (black cherry? I forget), was not. I
left most of it.
