August 18th 2007: Bay Area Barbeque Cookoff

The one movie is a 360-degree panorama of the Alameda County Fairgrounds. I like the band, the Joel Streeter band, that played as I recorded this. From thirteen to sixteen seconds into the video, one can see the barbecue stands in the distance. From seventeen seconds onward, one can see the intermittent row of non-food booths.

The welcome gate.	One wide shot of many of the stands at the cookoff. Must be seen full-sized for full effect. It's impressive how many competitions these barbecuers make it to and how many awards they win.	More stands at the cookoff. These are to the right of the previously photographed ones. I really like the middle stand in this picture because of some of its quirky signs: Good cowgirls keep their calves together. Trespassers will be shot. Survivors will be shot again. I bought dinner from that stand, partially due to the signs and partially because it had good combo plates.	I thought the Weinermobile was the only building/vehicle shaped like food. I was wrong.
