March 24th 2007: Arrival

I arrived late in the day and so didn't have much opportunity to take pictures. Upon arriving, I did a trivial amount of exploring, taking two pictures in the process. Then I visited a Waffle House for dinner but forgot to take pictures of it or my food.

Atlanta State Farmers Market
One of the many rows of booths/loading docks. It's very industrial in style and scope--quite a contrast to farmers markets in California. I got some better pictures of the market when I returned during the daytime on March 27th.
A blurry picture meant to give an idea of the scale of the market. Each light--there are eight or so in this picture--is at the end of a long row of docks/booths; one such row is shown in previous photograph. Again, I have better pictures of the market from March 27th. Sorry about the blurriness: there was a cop patrolling the grounds and I wanted to grab the picture and go before he had time to get to me and ask questions.
