September 16th 2007: Concord Greek Festival

I recorded many movies to capture the feel of the festival, the church, the music, and the dancing.

  • Dancing. I recorded one dance performance and one group of festival-goers dancing. In the latter movie, the guy in a brown shirt on the far side of the far circle starts doing some wild dancing about nine seconds into the video.
  • Setting. There's one 360-degree panorama of part of the festival grounds, including some neat booths. There's also a 180-degree pan of the grassy area where I sat while eating. In the middle of the pan, you'll see I had a good view of the stage. It was a pleasant place to eat.
  • Food. One movie is of a beast (lamb?) roasting on a spit.
  • Church. I took a back-and-forth panorama of the church. I like the architecture: the polygonal design (almost circular), the impressive dome, and the plentiful natural light.

There are movies associated with this collection.
