I didn't take any pictures on the day I arrived.

One sight made me seriously wish I had my camera easily available: as we
rode the bus from the airport to the hotel, the sun was setting behind
some mountains to the west.  Although the sun was out of sight, the
sun's rays emanated like a sunburst from behind the mountain,
illuminating clouds from below as if from spotlights.

While I've previously seen the sun peek from behind a cloud to send a
beam of light to illuminate a particular spot on the ground (as one sees
in movies, accompanied by exultant music, when the hero sees something
that'll rescue him from his plight), I've never seen anything like this
before: multiple rays rising up from the ground, not descending toward
it.
